Free Consultation
We provide all prospective clients with a free 15-minute consultation over the phone so that we can discuss their issues. We further provide a free 45-minute meeting either over the phone or at my office to all clients dealing with estates valued over $200,000. Any additional time discussing your matter will be billed at our regular hourly rate.
Representation
Should you decide to work with our firm after the consultation, we will provide you with a representation agreement. Since no two cases are alike, the circumstances of your matter will determine how it is structured.
How We Charge – Wills, Trusts, and Estate Planning
Our typical trust and estate planning work is charged at a fixed-fee basis determined by the type of documents needed and the amount of time that we anticipate needing to prepare them.
We offer our more sophisticated estate planning clients the ability to subscribe to our services for a fixed monthly fee. In exchange, we will be available to assist you with any estate planning issues that emerge as you plan and execute your financial plan. Additionally, you will be provided with up-to-date tax, estate planning, and other critical information that can provide tremendous value.
How We Charge – Probate, Administration, and Estate Litigation
For any matter that requires us to work before the Probate Court on your behalf, we typically charge an hourly fee. Executors and Administrators typically have to demonstrate that the estate they are managing is capable of paying for our services.
In certain circumstances, we are able to charge beneficiaries and heirs on a contingency basis. If you have questions on whether you qualify for such an arrangement, contact our office and we would happy to help.
We accept the following forms of payment:
- Checks
- Money order
- Credit card (subject to a 3% service charge)
- Visa
